Your role
As a Senior Business Manager, you are a key driver of Strand’s growth in the Life Sciences sector.
You take ownership of your business scope, combining business development, client relationship management, and talent collaboration, while contributing to a high-performance and human-centric environment.
This is a 360° business role, with a strong focus on strategic business development and long-term client partnerships.
Your responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify, approach, and develop new clients within Life Sciences
- Build and expand a strong client portfolio
- Lead the full sales cycle: from opportunity identification to contract closing
- Drive sustainable revenue growth aligned with Strand’s ambitions
Client Relationship Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to your clients
- Understand their challenges
- Propose tailored consulting solutions with high added value
- Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term partnerships
Talent & Consultant Management
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract top consultants
- Assess candidates and ensure alignment with client needs and Strand standards
- Build and maintain a strong network of consultants
- Follow-up on consultants’ missions and support their development together with Talent Management
Networking & Market Intelligence
- Develop and maintain a strong professional network
- Stay up to date with market trends and industry evolution
- Identify new opportunities and emerging areas of growth
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Marketing, and Events
- Contribute to employer branding and business positioning
- Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement
Criteria
Your profile
Experience
- 5–10+ years of experience in business management, consulting, or business development
- Strong experience in Life Sciences (pharma, biotech, medtech, healthcare) is preferred
- Proven track record in developing and managing client portfolios
Skills
- Strong commercial mindset with a consultative selling approach
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and listening skills
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Languages
- Fluent in English
