Exploring Career Growth at Strand: A Talk with Louise Etienne

In honour of Women’s History Month, we are highlighting the women that are contributing to the future and success of the Life Sciences sector. We recently talked with Project Consultant Louise Etienne about her professional growth and the Strandie experience.  

Fulfilling career opportunities 

In my former role, my responsibilities evolved around supporting teams throughout the submission process of two new products. My goal was to assist in their launch and ensure we were prepared for any audits. 

I particularly enjoyed collaborating and working in teams, because it allowed us to learn from each other and get a broader understanding of both customer needs and departmental operations. 

What I found particularly fulfilling was the opportunity to manage projects from start to finish. This involved preparing documents related to potential product complaints, gathering information and incorporating feedback from team members. It was a collaborative process that involved effective communication and coordination!

Fostering professional growth 

My aim is to improve my technical expertise and get hands-on experience in the field. I really appreciate that Strand supports me in this aspect by offering me relevant training opportunities!

They significantly contribute to my career development in acquiring soft skills through regular mentoring sessions. I was also given the opportunity to regularly meet up with a mentor who took the time to answer my technical questions. 

I think that this personalised approach sets Strand apart and greatly influences my career progression.
